When creating a character, you must choose a "fill-out" template to follow, to know which things are required. Usually, the games you join at Hunger Games Wiki will contain a template you can follow, however, if you're creating a character without having a game ready to submit to, or if no template for the characters is given, you can here see a guide to which templates are used:

This is the typical fill outs for a mentor character:

The Simple Template[]

This is a very simple template, very fast to fill out, usually used games where mentors does not have a very big role.

District:

Gender:

Appearance:

Mentoring Style:

Example[]

Name: Magnolia Figuera

District: 7

Gender: Female

Apperance: Magnolia used to be beautiful. She's very dark tanned skin and used to have coal black hair and very warm chestnut brown eyes, with this soothing gleam to them. She was short with a curvy figure. However, that changed when she became a victor. Her stylist went all crazy on her, and she now has yellow colored eyes, because of the Capitol fashion, and purple curly hair.

Mentoring Style: Magnolia is a kind soul. She'll stand behind her tributes in everything they do, supporting them and trying her best to make them feel comfortable, knowing that they're soon gonna face a nightmare. She'll try to make prepared for the horrors they're gonna face in the arena but she will try not to scare them half to death while doing so. Magnolia means well, but her rather soft way of mentoring quite often makes the tributes unprepared before the arena.

The Modern Template[]

This template the most regularly used template for mentors entered in games. They require a bit more thought to them, because of the fact that they ask for a personality and how they won their games.

It made her realize how horrible the games was and how no children deserve this treatment. Because of this, Magnolia feels extremely sorry for every single child who has to go through the games, and wants to help them in every way she can. She's very sympathetic and tries to keep a happy attitude to make the tribute's last minutes before the games a bit more happy.

How they won their Games: Magnolia was actually quite low lying in her games. She was in a tight alliance with her district partner and the two tributes from district 12. In the bloodbath, she only ran in shortly, getting a bread and a can of water. Being unarmed, she had to rely on her allies to protect her. Magnolia's alliance laid low, but the District 12 male died in a forest fire. Eventually, Magnolia's alliance ran out of food and water and had to attend an upcoming feast. There, Magnolia managed to grab her bag and her district partners. The District 12 Female of their alliance was killed. When the games reached top four, it was Magnolia, her district partner, the female from 2 and the male from 1. Magnolia and her district partner went into battle, and her district partner killed the District 2 female before getting killed by the district 1 male. Her district partner did reach to cut the District 1 Male in the leg though, so he was already injured. Magnolia was now left to fight the district 1 male, so she picked up the sword of her fallen ally and stabbed the District 1 male, who were lying on the ground, because of the leg wound. Magnolia only made that kill in the entire games.

Advices:

"Do your best in the private training session. No one asks for more."

"In the bloodbath, don't run too far in. It's quite a creepy experience and not worth the risk."

Because of this, Magnolia feels extremely sorry for every single child who has to go through the games, and wants to help them in every way she can. She's very sympathetic and tries to keep a happy attitude to make the tribute's last minutes before the games a bit more happy. But this side also backfires on her, as her tributes are usually not prepared for the tough psychological environment within the games.

Backstory before the games: Magnolia was a only child, who lived in the richer parts of the District 7. She wasn't rich like a District 1 citizen, however her family had quite a lot of money. Because of this, one would believe Magnolia was spoiled and mean, right? Nope. Magnolia's kindhearted personality already showed before the games. She would volunteer in the kitchens of various orphanages in DIstrict 7, helping cooking for the children. A lot of people thought Magnolia would be dead meat when she was reaped, thinking she was way too soft to win the games.

Quote: "I want you to remember that no matter what happens out there, no matter what you say, who you kill or what you do, you're still you. They can't change that, unless you let them."

Mentoring Style: Magnolia is a kind soul. She'll try to make prepared for the horrors they're gonna face in the arena but she will try not to scare them half to death while doing so. Relations with their District population: Magnolia's relations with her district are quite bipolar. In a way, her district loves her for winning while only making one kill. She's a role model for many, and most claim she's the best victor they have. However, around the time of the year where the games are held, people begin to dislike her, because while they do like her kind side, they know that she's most likely not gonna bring them any victors.

Relations with the Capitol: Magnolia is quite overlooked in the Capitol, as her games were a bit uneventful compared to some others with a career victor in them. When Magnolia is mentioned, most people who enjoy the annual games will say: "Oh her, she shouldn't have won." Most of the Capitol thought that Magnolia didn't deserve her victory, and so, she's rather disliked.

Advice:

"Do your best in the private training session. No one asks for more."
