Different users have access to different functions of the The Hunger Games Fanon Wiki. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, bureaucrats, administrators and moderators can access a few additional functions.
To ensure this wiki keeps running smoothly, several administrators and moderators are there to help , and protect and enhance the wiki to its best. The current team is composed of:
Bureaucrats
Bureaucrats are senior editors. As well as being full administrators, they have management abilities where they can grant limited user rights. They have the ability to:
- Grant and revoke rollback, moderator and administrator rights
- Grant, but not revoke bureaucrat status. While they cannot directly revoke another user's bureaucrat status, they can revoke their own.
Bureaucrats oversee and supervise all requests for user rights, and carry out the community's decision in the case of nominations for administratorship or nominations for bureaucratship.

Administrators
Administrators are experienced and trusted editors, equipped with the tools to keep the wiki running smoothly. They are also useful as moderators in community discussion, Discord server and interaction. Those seeking help can turn to an administrator for advice and information. They are authorized to use the tools listed below at their disposal to deal with issues facing the wiki to the best of their ability.
- Delete pages, page histories, files etc.
- Rename files (these are mainly images and videos).
- Lock (protect) a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by users without administrator rights.
- Block an IP address or user name from editing.
- Revert bad edits more easily using a "rollback" link.
- Edit the MediaWiki namespace to make changes to the interface.

Moderators
Moderators are members of the community who have a few additional abilities to help administrators maintain the wiki. They are able to remove and restore replies that are not their own on message walls and Discussions under the conditions established by our discussion policy and Discussions guidelines. They also have the ability to close threads and Discussions posts.
Content moderators
Content moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate the wiki's content. These tools are:
- Deleting and moving protected pages.
- Deleting and moving files.
- Undeleting pages and files.
- Reverting edits using the rollback tool.
- Reuploading files.
- Protecting and unprotecting pages.

Discussion moderators
Discussion moderators are members of the community who have a few additional abilities to help administrators maintain The Hunger Games Fanon Wiki Discord and/or activity in all Discussion threads. They keep Discussion and Discord server a safe place and can delete, edit, move, highlight, and lock threads under conditions established by our chat policy. Additionally, they are able to:
- Delete blog comments.
- Edit and delete article comments.
